Entry for students aged 16-23 is by audition only.

Auditions are held regularly throughout the year and an audition date will be allocated upon receipt of a completed application form.

Stage 2 

Applicants will attend an ‘Audition/Interview Day’ which will include: 

Participate in a group audition/practical classes and Individual interview


Stage 3 

Applicants will receive written confirmation of whether or not they have been successful. Some applicants may be invited to a recall stage. 

Stage 4 

Recall audition – invited applicants will present pre-prepared material and undergo an interview.


Stage 5

Applicants will receive written confirmation of whether or not they have been successful.






Entry to Eastbourne School to Circus Arts requires a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above, to be confirmed in writing by the applicant’s current school on enrolment day. This needs to include grades C or Level 4 and above in GCSE English and GCSE Maths. In exceptional circumstances a student with a D grade or Level 3 in either GCSE English or GCSE Maths (but not both) may be accepted.

Arts specific qualifications and/or previous formal experience are not necessarily to successfully gain a place at Eastbourne School of Circus Arts.  Instead, in the application process each applicant will be looked at closely for evidence of passion, aptitude and the potential to make the most of their time with Eastbourne School of Circus Arts.




You may also be required to pay an administration fee, exam fees and an Awarding Body Registration fee if applicable. 

Details of Current fees are available upon request. Cheques are payable to Eastbourne School of Circus Arts. We can also accept electronic bank transfer and debit/credit cards. The information required for this can be obtained from the office. Fees are payable on or before the commencement of each term. In case of hardship, special arrangements for payment of tuition fees may be considered. Any such arrangements must be confirmed in writing. In the event of a student withdrawing from the school, one terms written notice must be given. 

Failure to give notice will entail payment of the full fee.
